Founder Story

As a professional NYC ballerina, Jenelle Manzi was trained to make it look easy — but behind every performance was serious grit, early mornings, and zero room for shortcuts. That same mindset led her to build Get Golden in 2020. Made for women who make moves — in the gym, the office, or life — Get Golden is about lasting performance, built for the long game.

I spent many of my early years as a ballerina navigating constant injuries—until I was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder marked by flexible joints, stretchy skin, and fragile tissues due to collagen defects. It’s something I rarely talked about, but it’s deeply shaped how I train and what I put into my body. As I learned more about my own condition, I became increasingly curious about the food system and science—eventually leading me down a long path of study, including courses at Stanford and Institute for Integrative Nutrition. What started as my greatest weakness became my greatest strength: a reason to question the status quo, stay open, and do things differently.

My journey toward better health and performance inspired me to create products that actually make a difference—without the guesswork. At Get Golden, we’re focused on long-term results: clean, high-performance formulas made with powerful ingredients and none of the fluff. We believe fueling your body should be simple, effective, and enjoyable.
